“We wanted to celebrate the five hundredth anniversary of the Battle of Pavia by proposing a special edition of the most significant and characteristic sporting event in Pavia. This is because we think that sport should be enhanced and linked to the city’s promotional events. – said Angela Barbara Gregorini, Councillor for Sport, Youth Policies, Tourism, Animal Care and Welfare of the Municipality of Pavia. – The combination of Sport and Tourism, in fact, brings together a different and particular audience than the classic tourist. And Pavia needs a lot to use all possible channels to make itself known, especially this year and on this important anniversary”
